Central Inn Motel

Nice and clean...the maids are very good! I was just getting in town from Florida and needed somewhere quick to stay for a decent rate. I was very pleased. They even let me late check out ;-) Definitely a decent motel for the price!

We stayed for a vacation to universal studios and the beach. It wasn’t too far from either and also had convenience stores within walking distance for anything we needed. There was a really good taco stand across the street, everything around was fair priced which is great if you’re on a budget. They were great with our service dog and there’s a really nice park a 2 min drive away big enough to give him plenty of exercise. Overall they helped us with any questions or requests we had. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was nice and was overall good experience in the rought part of LA but was very comfortable and no complaint

Actually this is the former site of the Black Panther Party’s LA office at which the LAPD attacked the people inside, allegedly looking for shooters. They used military to force them out under fire. Vietnam Veterans who were members saved the lives of dozens on that day to enable them to surrender peacefully. Other South Central institutions have used the multi use building which wraps around the corner including a daily community newspaper and other political campaigns. Maybe it’s a cheap motel these days…

Good for the price. The manager is friendly. The room was dated but clean. Much better than the last 2 places I stayed for the previous nights in this same area (all for the same price). Next time I will stay here the whole trip.

They were kind rarely seen in hospitality now , rooms were ok , big and roomy mainly. Location isn't bad about a mile from a lot of stores

Idk why this is considered a two star hotel. Every single person that works at this establishment is excellent in every way, their customer service is unmatched and their dedication to 100% clean

This place is solid. Not perfect, but definitely felt comfortable in the room and didn't find any major issues (no bugs, no leaks, etc.). They must have made some positive changes since the old one-star reviews. If you're used to fancy suites it might not be the place for you, but if you're on a budget and/or low on options (like us) then it's a perfect spot. The staff was fabulous, very accommodating and you can tell the young woman at the front desk really cares. If not for her and her awesome, kind attitude, we may not have stayed here. But I'm glad we did as the other options in this area are MUCH more sketchy. The biggest drawback is the location—definitely not the best area. But we didn't have any issues and everyone kept to themselves; people are just trying to get by like anyone else. I'd stay here again for sure if need be.

Me and my boy friend stayed 2 nights , it was easy check in , Reasonable price and room we will be returning when we visit La again. I give it 5 stars
